EGB Groups (Evergreen Builder and Developers) started in 2016 as a construction company in Coimbatore, built on a simple idea: most homeowners deal with too many disconnected vendors — a builder here, a land broker there, a designer somewhere else — and nobody is fully accountable when something falls through the cracks between them.
Over the past 10+ years, that idea grew into four services under one roof: residential and commercial construction, DTCP-approved land promotion, interior design, and architectural planning. The same team that verifies a plot's title is the team that can tell you whether it's buildable. The same team that designs a home's layout is the one that builds it.

Why Four Services Under One Roof
How It Started
EGB Groups didn't set out to become a construction company, a land promoter, an interior designer, and an architecture firm all at once. It started as a construction company in Coimbatore, and each additional service came from the same recurring problem showing up on-site: a client would buy a plot from one broker, hire us to build on it, and only then discover the title had a dispute, or the layout wasn't DTCP approved, or the soil conditions made the original design impractical. By the time the problem surfaced, the client had already spent money on land, on planning, or on both.
Connecting the Dots
Adding land promotion meant we could verify a plot before a client committed to it, not after. Adding architectural planning meant structural feasibility got checked at the design stage, not discovered mid-construction. Adding interior design meant the same continuity applied to how a finished structure gets lived in, not just how it gets built.
Closing the Gaps
None of these services exist as separate business lines competing for the same client's budget. They exist because each one closes a gap that used to sit between vendors who had no reason to talk to each other. A land promoter has no incentive to flag that a plot is hard to build on. A designer working independently of a construction team has no way to verify a wall is load-bearing before drawing around it. When all four functions report to the same team, those blind spots mostly disappear.
Reputation Over Volume
This is also why EGB Groups doesn't take every project that comes through the door. If a plot's documentation doesn't hold up, or a design brief isn't structurally realistic, saying so upfront — even when it costs us the sale — has mattered more to our reputation over 10+ years than closing every deal available.

Every plot we promote is checked for DTCP approval and clear title before it's listed — not after a buyer asks. Every structural plan is checked against the actual site before construction starts.

If a layout isn't feasible, or a budget doesn't match the scope, we say so at the consultation stage — a harder conversation early is better than a costly one mid-project.
